Who runs this

The data controller for both the Golden Guiri dating pool and the Guiri Network professional directory is Guiris de Mierda. You can reach us at hello@guirisdemierda.com.

What we collect

Depending on which side you use, we may store:

• Your name, email address and profile photo
• Your bio, age, city, gender and languages spoken
• Your hometown, current job and time in Madrid
• Your WhatsApp number (used only for matches you opt into)
• Your Instagram and LinkedIn URLs, if you add them
• Self-written profile prompts and answers
• Your romantic and friend selections at speed dating events
• Connection interests you express in the Network
• Your subscription status (free or Golden Guiri)

Why we collect it

We use this information solely to operate the Golden Guiri dating pool and our in-person speed dating events, and to run the Guiri Network professional directory. That means matching people, sending you notifications about matches and connections, and showing your profile to other members of the community.

Who we share it with

We rely on a small number of trusted processors to actually run the service. They only see what they need to do their job:

• Supabase — database hosting and login
• Stripe — payment processing for Golden Guiri subscriptions
• Resend — sending you transactional emails
• Google — optional sign-in with your Google account

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

We keep your profile data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we remove your profile, photos and connections promptly. Speed dating event attendance records may be kept for up to 2 years for operational purposes (preventing duplicate signups, resolving disputes, planning future events).

Your rights under GDPR

If you live in the EU, the GDPR gives you the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Have your data erased
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
• Lodge a complaint with Spain's data protection authority, the AEPD

How to use those rights

The fastest way to delete your account is the Delete my account button at the bottom of your profile page on either side of the app. For everything else — access, correction, portability — email us at hello@guirisdemierda.com and we will get back to you within 30 days.
